I grew up creating art from anything I could find…inside, outside, at home, or at school — to me, everything was an art material. Then one Christmas morning I opened a box, filled with all kinds of art supplies. My mom beautifully wrote “Sarah’s Art Box” on the lid. I felt like a true artist. If you’re a creative, you know that feeling — the moment you realize art is your language, your joy, your way of engaging with the world.For years, I’ve worked to become a full-time artist, but like many, I’ve struggled with the business side of art. When AI entered the conversation, I was skeptical — like many artists, I feared it would take away from creativity rather than enhance it. But as I learned more, I realized AI is a tool full of potential that can help us thrive. That’s why my team and I are building Arttides — to give artists the support, resources, and community needed to succeed in this new era.-Sarah Li
